Where have you roleplayed in general and/or with this specific character?:

I started roleplaying Jacob in an IM RP for my best friend in Aug of 2008, that followed the canonical plot of Twilight, but filled in tons of missing gaps in the continuity of the book.  She had never read the book series before: I simply gave her a psychological profile of Bella, and she played the character, while I played everyone else and directed the narrative flow of things.  Given how much of New Moon skips over the time Jacob and Bella spent together, I had to develop Jake's character far beyond what was in the book in order to play out those scenes.  We're still playing that game, but I also picked him on LJ eventually, in December of 2009.  I played him in various PSLs on sixwordstories  and at bravenewworldrp for many months.

Jake and Claire make plans to go camping so Jake can go stretch his legs.

Little does he expect her to invite her friend Logan along, and the two hit it off like oil and water.

Oh yeah and I finally found... where Claire met Jake and convinced him to come to New York.  And Edward was a dick.

The truth was?

Jake didn't feel angry all the time anymore.

He couldn't really place when that'd happened, either.  Partly, it could have been the distance: every day, they put more space between themselves and what had been.  But Jake knew that space alone wasn't enough, really.  It would never be enough.

There weren't a lot of explanations left over to choose from.

He had to admit, sometimes he really found himself enjoying Leah's company.  Mostly because they could be harsh with each other without being serious - and harsh was how he felt these days.

But it was becoming easier to just be happy sometimes, too.  Except that they were running low on money, and he found that the less he needed to escape into wolf form to get away from himself, the more he missed some of the comforts of human living.

He missed having a real bed at night. 

He missed pie.

Maybe that's why he stopped short when they passed the body shop with 'Help Wanted' in the window.  The rain slid off his nose as he peered through the dark windows.  His clothes stuck to him, and he wished he could just do without, even here in town.

"Are you coming?" Leah questioned, a demanding brow arched at him out of the corner of his eye.

"Sure, sure," he murmured.  "Just give me a sec."  His eyes shifted to the hours of operation sign on the door and he sought out 'Monday'.  Satisfied, he shook his hair out and turned towards her.

"Let's go catch lunch."

Hopefully, he could buy the one after that.
